Established in 1964, Hall Place Equestrian Centre is a leading equestrian centre set in the beautiful Berkshire countryside, welcoming riders and families of all ages and abilities.
Approved by the British Horse Society (BHS) and the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS), we combine over 50 years of equestrian experience with professional coaching, quality horse care and a friendly, supportive environment.
From riding lessons and competitions to Pony Days, camps, birthday experiences and our Changing Lives Through Horses programme, Hall Place offers opportunities to learn, grow and build confidence both in and out of the saddle.
Horses have the power to teach, inspire and create experiences that stay with us for life.

At Hall Place Equestrian Centre we offer private and group lessons for beginners, intermediate and experienced riders of all ages. We also hold BHS Riding and Road Safety Courses, as well as specialist jumping and dressage lessons for all abilities.

We host a variety of events, including dressage, show jumping, cross country and showing throughout the year. All our events are Unaffiliated, however many of them are held as UK Riders and Sunshine Tour Qualifiers.

Clare is our Instructor Coordinator and Senior Instructor/Groom, holding BHS Stages 1, 2 & 3 and Stage 3 Coach qualifications.
Having been surrounded by horses since the age of nine, she has always considered horses an important part of her life.
Before becoming a full-time instructor, Clare worked as a nanny, bringing together two things she has always loved – working with children and being around horses. She particularly enjoys teaching and helping younger riders grow in confidence and develop their skills.
Outside Hall Place, Clare has her own horse, Jayleen, and a particular love for show jumping.

Caleb joined Hall Place in May 2026 and is a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach.
With a wealth of coaching experience, he is passionate about helping riders expand their knowledge, build confidence and develop greater harmony with their horse.
Caleb particularly enjoys supporting riders through their long-term development, having coached some of his clients for over eight years.
Outside of coaching, he has two horses of his own, Otis, his dressage horse, and Martha, who is now semi-retired.

Rachel is a Riding Instructor and Groom, holding BHS Stage 2 and Stage 2 Coaching qualifications.
Her connection with Hall Place goes back to 2012, when she rode and helped at the centre, before returning to the team in 2023.
Rachel enjoys helping riders improve their position, confidence and overall riding, with a particular love for dressage and pole work.
She has two horses of her own, Kite, who is now 28 and enjoying his retirement, and Piggy, who is currently in training for competitions.
At Hall Place, Rachel also has a soft spot for Cheerio, one of her favourite horses to ride.

Lindsey has been part of the Hall Place team for over 12 years and holds an Equine Level 2 qualification and a Certificate in Coaching.
She has a particular passion for equine-assisted learning and alternative education, and is our Changing Lives Through Horses (CLTH) Coordinator.
Committed to supporting young people through horses, Lindsey has completed additional training, including autism awareness, RDA and CLTH courses, helping her create a supportive and encouraging environment where every young person has the opportunity to develop and thrive.
Horses are very much a family affair for Lindsey. Her teenage twins, Mags and Violet, are also part of the Hall Place team, following in their mum's footsteps.
Lindsey has a horse of her own, Chester – and if he ever appears to be missing from the stables, there’s a good chance he can be found making himself at home in her garden!
