At Hall Place Equestrian Centre, we offer a wide range of riding lessons tailored to suit every age, ability, and ambition. Whether you are sitting on a horse for the very first time or working towards a BHS qualification, our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way.
All lessons are delivered by our BHS-qualified team in a safe, welcoming environment. We cater for children from age 3 upwards and adults of all levels.

Private Lessons
30 or 60 minutesOne-to-one tuition with one of our qualified instructors. Ideal for beginners, nervous riders, or those wanting focused, personalised coaching to fast-track their progress.

Semi-Private Lessons
30 or 60 minutesShare your lesson with one other rider at a similar level. A great balance of personal attention and shared motivation, at a more accessible price point.

Group Lessons
60 minutesLearn alongside others in a fun, sociable environment. Our group lessons are structured by ability level so you will always be riding with riders at a similar stage.

Lead Rein Lessons
30 minutesPerfect for our youngest riders aged 3 and above. A qualified instructor leads the pony while your child gets comfortable in the saddle and builds their confidence.

Hat & Boot HireHat and boot hire is included for the first three sessions. After this, each item will be charged at £2.50 per session.
Body Protector HireBody protector hire is available at £5 per session.

What to Wear
For your safety and comfort, we recommend wearing long trousers (jodhpurs are ideal), sturdy boots with a small heel, and a correctly fitted riding hat. Riding hats are available to borrow at the centre free of charge for your first three sessions.
